About Gracemarie Braunberg

As a former practicing Attorney, I understand your perspective and will be there to assist with details every step of the way. As your Legal Business Development Executive I will provide exceptional service by partnering with you and giving you time to focus on practicing law.
My Story
My route to account management is different than many. I have been in the shoes of my clients both as a paralegal and practicing litigation attorney. I have organized as well as taken depositions. I understand the stress, importance of timeliness and perfection, and why we need to Make It Happen exactly to your specifications.
I grew up in New Jersey where I spent my summers at the Jersey Shore waitressing at my family’s beach restaurant. For college I went south to the University of Richmond and stayed for the long haul. After college I worked as a litigation paralegal and then attended the University of Richmond Law School. Upon graduation I worked for a not-for-profit and traveled the country training law student volunteers to teach elementary, middle and high school students about how the law impacts them. I practiced law (complex torts and securities litigation) for a short time then transitioned into legal related sales, primarily helping companies develop custom compliance programs. A changing marketplace and an active, school age child led me to Planet Depos.
Ethics and integrity are my guiding principles. I partner with my clients and their clients to seamlessly move their cases along. I am a resource to answer questions, solve problems and liaise with the Planet Depos back office. I will give you time to work on your billable work and have the PD team ready to go for your deposition, mediation, arbitration or hearing wherever and whenever it occurs.
Out of the Office
My husband, tween daughter and I live in Arlington with our bichon poodle rescue, Gouda. Our “cheese dog” is the sweetest, most loving dog and wants to be close to us all the time. After my daughter’s pleas persuaded us to adopt a rescue pup, we have never looked back.
In my non-work hours I am a chauffeur to a very busy, active middle schooler and competitive swimmer. I happily spend hours organizing school events and volunteering for swim related activities. I serve on the swim team board of our summer club and am working to be a certified official for my daughter’s winter swim club. Watching my daughter swim and set and beat her personal bests is a joy.
I am an avid cook who prefers to open the fridge and make a meal from what I find, rather than use a recipe (occasionally resulting in a takeout order). I also love retreating into a good book or audio book, neglecting all other responsibilities.
Watching the Washington Capitals and Maryland Terrapins basketball teams are my winter passions.
