Eat represents nourishment and self-care. As court reporters, we often neglect our bodies in the name of deadlines and transcripts. This segment emphasizes the importance of eating well, staying hydrated, and fueling ourselves with real food that supports energy, clarity, and longevity – because your body is your instrument.

Pray symbolizes mindfulness, rest, and inner stillness. Whether through quiet reflection, deep breathing, a short walk, or spiritual practice, taking time out to pause and reconnect is vital. Mindfulness helps us stay present in the moment, reduce stress, and reclaim a sense of peace – even in high-pressure environments.

Love is about falling back in love with your work and your life. It’s about appreciating your skills, setting boundaries, forgiving mistakes, and remembering why you chose this career. Loving yourself and your calling helps you show up with purpose instead of pressure.

At its heart, Eat, Pray, Love, Balance invites court reporters to redefine balance not as doing everything, but as doing what matters – with care, with presence, and with love.

Jennifer L. Wielage

As a committed freelance court reporter, Jennifer Wielage’s deep passion for her profession initially drove her success but also led to significant physical and emotional strain. Struggling with the effects of stress and anxiety, she experienced multiple hospitalizations, which served as a pivotal wake-up call. These challenges highlighted the urgent need to prioritize her health and well-being. 

Instead of stepping away from her beloved career, Jennifer embarked on a transformative journey, making substantial changes in all aspects of her life to find balance and wellness while continuing to excel as a freelance court reporter. 

Driven by her passion for health and wellness, Jennifer pursued Life Coach certification from The Frumen Life/Leadership Coach Training, complemented by an additional diploma from The Life Coach School. With these credentials, she is committed to guiding others in achieving balance and well-being. 

Through her work, Jennifer empowers her clients – many of whom are fellow court reporters – to unlock their potential for personal growth and wellness. Drawing inspiration from the colors of the rainbow, she has developed a unique approach to balance that resonates with individuals seeking harmony in their lives.
