Meet the Domestic and International Scheduling Teams
The Domestic and International Scheduling teams at Planet Depos are comprised of a total of 30 team members, including management! The Domestic team handles scheduling, rescheduling, changing, adjusting and canceling proceedings that take place domestically. The International team handles the same for all international proceedings; they also provide pricing and advise on the legality and processes for taking depositions abroad. All team members are in constant communication with all clients to ensure every job proceeds as flawlessly as possible, and they strive to provide impeccable customer service and attention to detail at every opportunity. They are a team of hard-working, dedicated, adaptable, positive and knowledgeable people who are always happy to help! Meet some of our team members below:

Vice President of Operations
MEREDITH WEISEL
Director of Operations, Pre-Job
About Me
I have spent my entire professional career thus far at Planet Depos, starting as a client services host in 2012 before moving into the scheduling department shortly after. I spent several years in scheduling, arranging thousands of jobs along the way (I’ve seen it all!), before being promoted to scheduling supervisor in 2020. In 2021, I became the scheduling manager, and then in 2023, I became the Director of Operations, Pre-Job, where I now oversee the scheduling, international and facilities departments. One of my most recent major work accomplishments was leading the implementation of a new, quicker and more efficient way to schedule jobs, which involved coordinating with almost every department at PD!
I love my job, but my greatest love is my family. My husband Tom and I were married in 2018, and we welcomed our first son, Johnny, in 2020. Our second son is due in fall 2023, and any spare time (ha!) I will have between chasing around two boys will be spent catching up on the latest Netflix shows, reading or hanging out with friends!
ANNIE BROWN
Senior Domestic Scheduling Supervisor
About Me
I was born and raised in Maryland and ended up working at PD in 2017 after working at a law firm that was a long-time PD client. I spent about two years with the team, first as a videographer and then as a scheduling coordinator. In 2019, I moved to Tennessee with my partner, and we settled just outside of Nashville. After Covid hit, I returned to PD as an independent remote technician briefly before coming back to the scheduling department, where I’ve happily remained since! I currently supervise the late shift in the scheduling department, where I’m responsible for 12 incredible team members.
I’m a musician and artist and love to learn new instruments and crafts. I know how to play flute, guitar, ukulele, violin (badly), piano (even worse) and melodica, and I’m looking forward to learning how to play my recently acquired accordion next!
CINDY HERNANDEZ
Lead Scheduling Case Manager
About Me
I’m a lead scheduling case manager by day, where I help coordinate more complex cases that require assistance. By night, I’m a plant-loving, video-gaming chef, as well as a devoted friend, sister, daughter and (self-proclaimed) comedienne 24/7. I have an unapologetic love for Bravo TV, Chinese take-Out, Pokémon and Beyoncé, with an equal distaste for Chipotle, spiders, camping and Apple products (which I’m always happy to discuss or debate any of these topics)!
I recently visited one of my dream destinations, Italy, and soaked up all the food, wine and culture I could bare and more! I hope to do more traveling down the road and knock a couple more destinations on my list, including Greece and Japan!

SARAH WILDER
International Scheduling Manager
About Me
I came to PD in May 2021 from the back office of an in-home care agency, where I started as a domestic scheduling supervisor before being promoted to my current role. I instantly fell in love with the PD culture, and I love working with so many smart, dedicated, genuinely kind and funny people who live across the country! I now manage the international scheduling team, oversee communication and relations with the PD Asia team and keep an eye on international scheduling trends.
I’m a Western North Carolina transplant, with my husband, dog, two cats and countless houseplants. My husband and I are also both potters (part of the draw to NC) and we are slowly establishing a studio practice in our new community!

SHANDRA BURKE
International Scheduling Case Manager
About Me
I was a paralegal for 20 years before coming to the domestic scheduling department at Planet Depos. After serving as a domestic scheduling coordinator for 11 months, I moved departments to become an international scheduling case manager, where I assist clients and affiliates with scheduling international depositions, traveling arraignments and securing resources. I love using my scheduling knowledge from the domestic side in conjunction with my many years of paralegal experience here in the international department, as there’s a stronger need for research and a broad knowledge of the law and legal processes when scheduling international cases. I graduated magna cum laude with my bachelor’s in social and criminal justice with a minor in healthcare administration.
I was born and raised, and currently reside, in Columbus, OH, where I enjoy running, hiking/walking, Buckeye football and spending time with my two adult children and three dogs. I love travel and often work from the road along the East Coast with my husband who is a traveling project manager. We are fans of trying local mom and pop pizza joints, and can often be found at social justice events or stand-up comedy shows and concerts. I am also an ordained minister and officiate weddings on the side and I am learning to become fluent in Spanish!
EMILY TAYLOE
Domestic Scheduling Supervisor
About Me
I live in Virginia Beach, VA which is very close to our PD Norfolk office. I started off as a host, then was promoted to lead scheduling coordinator, and now I am loving my current role as the domestic scheduling supervisor! As a supervisor I support the team by handling emails and assisting with any internal issues that may arise, as well as conducting monthly check-ins with all 10 of my direct reports. We are always thinking of new innovative ways to streamline our daily process! When I first started at PD, the scheduling team consisted of about five to seven people. Five years later, our team has now grown to 22 members and we’re still growing!
I came to PD through an acquisition, so court reporting has been in my blood for a VERY long time. Both of my parents were court reporters, as well as my sister. My sister, Katie, is now also a scheduling team member! It is truly a family affair here at Planet Depos and I couldn’t be happier to be surrounded by such amazing co-workers.
