Planet Depos recommends setting up war rooms in a hotel, however sometimes the local counsel’s office will be used. Trained consultants will work with a firm’s IT staff, as well as the site’s engineering staff and internet service provider to set up a secure, local network area that includes both the war room and the individual sleeping rooms.

  A dedicated internet connection with the appropriate bandwidth ensures a reliable VPN or remote desktop connection to a home office network, as well as local resources such as network attached storage, printers, and full-finishing copiers.

  When a war room is setup outside of a hotel, trial consultants can still provide desktop support, in addition to working with the local counsel’s IT group to supplement their technology, minimizing any interruptions that may occur.

  All Planet Depos trial consultants provide full technical support for the local network and network resources, plus Windows desktop support for common law firm applications, throughout the trial.
