My Story
A little about me, professionally
Prior to joining Planet Depos, I worked as a Client Development Consultant with Findlaw & Super Lawyers, A Thomson Reuters Business. I consulted with numerous law firms in the Maryland-Washington, DC area providing key business development strategies to grow their practice. After 10 years at Findlaw, I joined Planet Depos and never looked back. I’m fortunate to be part of a company that places the needs of the client first, while still valuing their employees. Planet Depos is a leader in the court reporting industry. They hold themselves to the highest professional standards, and I feel a sense of pride being a part of this company. I wake up every day looking forward to contributing to the growth and success of Planet Depos.
A little about me, personally
I grew up in Montgomery County, Maryland, where I lived with my mother and two sisters. As a single mother, my mother modeled integrity and service, and those are the values that I live by and bring to all aspects of my life. My mother understood that hard work and determination go hand in hand, and she instilled those values in her daughters. Growing up I fell in love with swimming. Ever since I stood on the starting block at my first swim meet, I felt the nudge of competition. That competitive edge, along with my sincere interest in people, has led to my professional success.
I have been married to my wonderful husband, George, for over 30 years. We have two adult sons, Tyler and Michael. This year we added Gracie, a yellow lab, to our family. As parents of two highly athletic boys, my husband and I spent many hours volunteering at and supporting our sons’ games and competitions throughout high school and college. We now enjoy spending time together at our second home in Bethany Beach, Delaware. You can find the four of us on any given Saturday at the beach, throwing the ball around and chasing after Gracie. We also enjoy sporting events (Go Caps! Go WFT! Go NATS!), concerts, and cooking together.
