Taipei was recently named the “World Design Capital” for 2016 by the International Council of Societies of Industrial Design. Not too shabby! Designers across the city and country have begun to transform this once-boring city of concrete and steel into one of beautiful architecture and interesting aesthetics. Furniture designers and others have followed suit, Taipei now blossoming into a truly stunning and intriguing city that can stand proudly among some of the most treasured cities in the world.
